1, Introduction

In this week's module, we'e going to take an advanced way to express bouncing ball animation with more movement, to explain more, we're going to add move motion in ball bouncing animation we made previously.

2, Topics

Anticipation

The main topic we've leant was "anticipation" which is all about techniques for animation to add more animation to provide more movement.
To explain more about this, there are several different way to get anticipation for your animation work. Here is some example. :
・animation that some object follows behing the moving object. (That can be used for hair animation.)
・Object that stretch and squeeze when object is moving or bouncing.
・Making a preparation animation before some particular movement
By applying these kind of animation, we can make our animation looks more realistic for auience.

3, Real progression

After we learnt about the anticipation work, we start our work to add anticipation to the animation we made before.
We add stretching and swueeze animation to the ball when it bounce, then we add tail on the ball to make animation more interesting and realistic to the animation itself.
The point I struggle was when it bounce, it was easy for me to just making an animation that tail followin the ball, but I had no idea about the movement of tail when the ball bounces. The modular told me that I should make the animation of tail like Japanese character "し" (it pronounce "shi") after the ball, then I finally make a ball bouncing animation shown below.
