1, Introduction

In this module, were going to make a jumping animation, the animation itself required similar process to make. The first problem is that I have to understand the form of jumping every time, unlike the walking animation I've done beofre, I used the some special method that must improve the quality of my animation even much better, and I also changed the tool to be used, so I can mow easily copy the character's form unlike past process I've done.

2, Production

First of all, we need to understand the form of jumping to make an animation of jumping. The animation of jumpiing starts from bending legs to squat body, then stretch your both legs quickly, the speed that you made when you try to stretch maintain its speed maintain enough speed to leave the ground, but you can't fry freely like a bird, this is because of the Earth's gravity. The Earth's gravity is enough to pull back your body to the ground, however, the power used to stretch your legs is just small power to fry just less than a second so the speed that you back to the ground isn't fast as airplane, in the end, you can land to the ground safely by having enough time to be ready to landing by syretching the legs again.
In my animation, I also tried to recreate this form to make a jumping animation, however the previous animation I made was not enough to submit as school work, this is because I could not copy the previous image to make a smooth animation. In this time, I used tracing papers to make a copy of animation.
I also found out the tips for making animation called "4. Straight Ahead & Pose to Pose - 12 Principles of Animation". This YouTube video told me that when you make an animation of particular movement which you want to maintain the size of character/object, you must start pick most representative posse of the motion. It surely helps to understand the movement and it also maintain pose or position of action.
I started drawing on trasing papers from picking most representative pose and numbering each 12 frames to be used to create 24 frames which uses 1 images per 2 frames to create 1 second animation.
I used pencil first to make a draft animation about simple figure jumping animation first, then I recreate to improve my animation better to move to the drawing by pen and make an animation first.
The first animation's quality wasn't what I expected, some of the part of the animation was not satisfies me, so I took a note about disadvantage of my animation and I recreate it, once I checked the animation, I moved to the process which I draw a Tiget jumping for each frame. The point that I remade was about the motion itself, original animation, the motion of jumping doesn't seem like a jumping even though the motion is perfect, therefore I made the legs to bend more so the motion itself looks more overreacting so viewers may recognize the motion even better.
In the end, the animation itself has become better, however I regret two things to my work, first is the face of tiger isn't same all the time, in the animation, I need to maintain character's face to recognise easily, however I didn't trace the face of tiger and it leads to the serious mistake. Secondaly the jumping motion itself doesn't look real, the motion of jumping should bend the legs at the peak of jumping, so the I should make tiger to bend his legs at tthe highest point of the jumping, but as the result, the tiger starts to bend his leg after the peak of jumping. That's the one of the most shameful point in my animation production.
