1, Introduction

This project is the finale of Motion Graohuc Work to make abstract motion graohicI work based on things what I've learnt in lesson and indivisdual research. Firstly, I was told that I have to make a storyboard first then I moved to the real creation process. I always aim to create my YouTube promotion video through this module, therefore I naturally choose making video about promoting my YouTube channel which explains about International school education and Malaysia. The work itself refers past techniques that I've used in previous works and I tried to use Mew techniques, however, I could have use much more new techniques that I've never used before, however because of the time consuming issue I could have much enough time to learn new techniques, but I tried to make new impression in my video.

2, Production

First of all, the planning of the video production was taking long time because all ideas and things I want to express for my ouTube channel was already used in my previous work, therefore I have to make up another motion graphic video to express the consept of my YouTube channel and interest of Malaysia to visit. My storyboard for my final motion graphic work doesn't use any advanced work to emphasize my visual impression to impress audience, neither I just use the technique that I have already used in my previous proect, however I used a new effect called corner pin that transform the shape of my YouTuve Video to fit into the static laptop/mobile phone screen I found on the internet.

Once I decided the whole plot about my final motion graphic work, I moved to the process of real creation, interesting point of this creation is that unlike my past work I've done, I choose the BGM to be used first in my video then I started to make motion graohic work, this is because I wanted to synchronise the movement of images with rythm of the music, additionally I tried to decide the music first to state the impression of whole video, at this time I had no idea what kind of motion graphic I should make because of lack of idea as I mentioned before.

The main technique I used in my project is all about "Kinetic typography". The consept about kinetic typography is all about moving and rotating the text to express meaning. I had an experience to make some kinetic typography work in past. There are two reasons why I choose kinetic typography, one is because of the easiness of expression of impact of information and another one is it can easily express energetic impression for audience, in my opinion Malaysia is enegetic country and I want to express its feelings, however it leads lack of more detailed information in my video.

I did not have enough time to include many advanced after effect technique due to its time issues because I also had other works to do, however I tried to include one special technique in my project and it's called "corner pin". Corner pin is the additional effects that adjust the position of each 4 porner of the image/video to adjust its size and shape and I used this technique to show my past YouTube videos into the free images about mobile phone, laptop and TV screen, however I alto wanted to use Rotio brush which removes background which is not either blue or green.

The point I regret in this project is about lack of 3D effect, I tried to use 3D expression in my video to impress audience so I switched the 3D layer in my After Effects, however, the time I used 3D effect has been limited due to lack of ideas, I have to get more 3D ideas for references in my next project so I can provide more 3D effects that can impress audiences much better.

3, Conclusion

The quality of the work itself has been ended up as alternative version of my past work and it can be said im==the works has improved or not, however the number of techniques I've learnt in my project isn't that much as expected and I could include more better and many efects into my project, the work itself looks slide made in powerpoint, but it includes Malaysian representation efficientky in my view. I could include more new expression/effect in my next project.
