1, Introduction

This week, We're going to lean about learn about correction & coour grading which is able to be stated as colour adjustment for the scenes. As the previous my weekly eportfolio already mentioned, the every scenes for movie must consider about the light temperature, brightness and all other lighting related features that can provide different impression. The brighter light can provide friendly impression, but darker scene gives us serious impression, all related elements must consider as part of the film production.
This week had no lecture for us, therefore We watched the YouTube movies to discover the way to adjust the colour and lighting in the scene of the film.

2, Lighting

If you want to adjust brightness, Go to window then select lumetri scope to visualizer the lump waveform, then Click on a wrench and select waveform and from the waveform and type luma.

To adjust the brightness balance, go to lumetri colour and RGB curves and select white dot and select the right top to the left and left bottom to the right side. This can emphasise the contrast between darker part and brighter part.

Select RGN parade and vectorscope YUV and turn off RGB parade, to equal the balance of the colour and brightness to previde impression in the screen, go to basic correction tab in the luma tree colour (lumetri) and select white balance selector and select pure white to get more  balance.
The balance of brightness and darkness itself can be adjust individually, in the Adobe premiere, the brightness and darkness aren't not the elements that can adjust, but the dark strength and white strength also able to adjust, this is because even the strong light or darkness might erase some part of the screen, adjusting the black and white itself can remain some part of the screen.
Here is the list that what you can adjust in Basic sorrelation.

Tone adjustment
Exposure : Brightness
Contrast : As the name suggests it controls colour differences
Highlight : emphasise brightness
Shadow : emphasise darkness
White : Adjust the white itself
Black : Adjust black itself

If there is no pure white in the screen, use RGB curve and select colours you want to adjust white balance.

To scope to know the tone of skin, firstly sample the skin by creating a mask around the area you want to adjust by using a pen  in effect control to create a mask around the area of the skin from the opacity control under effect control, then search fast colour corrector from the effects and drag onto your clip, the  move the effect controls panel over to be next to the luma tree, the select hue angle to adjust colour balance

Lumetri colour and select hue saturation and open the tab of hue saturation curvest to adjust one particular colour.
then open adjustment tab to handle general screen colour balance.

In Lumitti colour, white balance can adjust by just sliding temperatures and tint bar.

Right click and copy the clip you adjust, then paste attributes to apply same effect on your different clip. This feature can help you to duplicate your correlation onto your different clips in your video.

3, Actual output

Once I've got ideas about how to adjust brightness and colours on my screen per clip, I moved to the real creation to correrate my own two video. One is the MV that we take as work of ccamera angles and shoot, and another one is my editted Lalin video. As shown below.

I really feel regret about my limitation to skill aout emphasiseing the screen in the film. The result of my video correlation isn't enough to express the impression of the scene as what to suppose to express and adjust the colour balane. The idea of colour and brightness impression wasnot how I expected.

The point I struggled most for light and sdark correlation is RGB curved, the feature and method to do the adjustment itself wasn;t difficult to understand and do by my own, however when I slid each dots to adjust the balance of brightness, the impression of the scene changed dramatically, I just try to emphasise the object for the scenes and make the scenes more vivid, but as I tried to correlate the tone of the scene, the screen light gets distorted and required more adjustment. I think this is going to be my future task to correlate the screen much better way.
