1, Introduction

This is my first Design communication E-Portfolio. The module itsef is about learning architecture designs through studying about CAD and building construction. Throug the early tutorials, we're going to learn basic ideas about how does the design communication learning is going to be about how does Design Communication is going to be looked like. In first time, I made Zentangle Animal work.

2, Design Process

First of all, Zentangle art is a form of meditation art that involves creating complex and repetitive paterns which are combined with creator's freedom. The example works shown below are showing how zentangle artworks look like. I assume zentangle art as art forms combining multiple types of multiple repeating patterns and I started making zentangle artworks from deciding to make "dog" zentangle work.

I started to decided which dog image is going to be used. In my opinion, I had a image of dog as "energetic" and "Likes to sprint a lot", therefore I choose the image of running dog. After that, I started to making Zentangle art from sketching running dog. The early sketch of running dog was simple as normal sketch dog but unfortunatelly I forgot to take a photograph for that.

After sktching running dog, I started to write patterns on dog surface (skins), the pattern itself is trying to represent the muscle because muscle is the key of energrtic movement, so I used to make liner pattern alot.

After sketching draft work, I used my pen to draw a line with following the line drawn by pencil to make final form, the final outlines and patterns are drawn by pen. By the way, The frame arounf the image is also drawn by myself. 

I erased thepencil draft after drawing by pen, then I fixed some errors and add some details to make final zentangle work.

3, Conclusion

The work itself was simple, because all I have to do is sketchingand add patterns but theproblem is that My work had been too much simple for making pattterns, in Next time I should add some more details to represent complex structure of the animal's body structure and organs. perhaps it may be goodideas to use patterns of plants for make my design better.
